Summon The Severed is a follow up to the latest full length Starkiller (2023), taking the music and the message to a far gloomier place. Continuing the storyline of Starkiller, we encounter the protagonist, known as The Traveller, seeking to redeem himself and to free himself and other's from the tyranny of the whims of the gods. The Traveller has gone to the lengths of finding a way to kill the gods of the world and then hatches a plan to resurrect their corpses to terramorph the planet. Musically, each song is full of quick, fast paced riffing, thick chugging, groovy base, with both blastbeats and drum fills. The synth and piano parts are intentionally less prominent on this album to illustrate the protagonist's view point changing to a more aggressive and almost comically maniacal worldview.
